This morning, we sponsored the What’s Up In Russell Coffee at the Deines Cultural Center. It was a great way to wrap up National Travel and Tourism Week. I couldn’t ask for a better event!!! It was a beautiful morning, over 60 people, yummy treats and coffee and a very wonderful program!!
We a had a few special guest that stopped by this morning. We had Rosslyn from the Grassroots Art Center and Lynn from the Garden of Eden to let everyone know about the upcoming events and about the attractions in Lucas, KS. Marcie Adler that works with Bob Dole. Dustin Poche stopped by to talk about his art display called Pandora’s by Poche in the Deines Cultural Center. The art display will be on display from now to May 31. Dustin is a Russell Native and last April he started working on his new project…the Pandoras. He decided that he wanted to have his first art show to be in his home town.
Troy Waymaster also announces his candidacy for the 110th Kansas House District congressional seat.
